Stephen R. Nelson, DDS, MS
Dr. Nelson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, graduating first in his class. Continuing at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Nelson then completed his specialty training in orthodontics and received his Master of Science degree.
Along with practicing at Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics, Dr. Nelson is also a member of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Nelson is a life-long Minnetonka area resident and a Hopkins High School graduate. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Minnetonka with their son, Charlie, and daughter, Sophie.
