Dr. Carr received her Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Minnesota. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, graduating with honors. Continuing at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Carr completed her specialty training in orthodontics and received her Master of Science degree.
Along with practicing at Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics, Dr. Carr is Board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Carr loves cooking and the outdoors, and has taken part in many marathons, including the world’s highest desert marathon in Chile!
Dr. Carr is originally from Mitchell, South Dakota. She and her husband, Robert Black, and daughters, Ashley and Amelia, live in Eden Prairie.
